EAServer makes it possible for multiple clients, whether Java, PowerBuilder, Visual Basic or PowerDynamo, to execute methods from an EAServer component. EAServer eliminates the need to write application logic toward specific platforms or a specific client. EAServer allows methods to be created once, installed on an EAServer, and accessed from multiple clients from a variety of platforms.
This chapter discusses how to use PowerDynamo and EAServer together to serve up applications that require dynamic Web pages, as well as access components (Java/JavaBeans, CORBA C++, ActiveX, and C) that run in EAServer.
